Just because summer is all but a distant memory doesn’t mean we can’t still enjoy the crops and foodstuffs provided by local farmers and markets. Check out this listing below to find a farmers’ market near you. Fresh is best!

FYI: At many farmers’ markets, you will find fresh winter vegetables, baked goods, potted plants and herbs, local eggs and meats and a variety of homemade products.

Brunswick Winter Market
Every Saturday from 9:00am-12:30pm; November through end of April

The winter farmers’ market offers root and storage veggies, greenhouse greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, dry beans and corn, Maine grown flour and oats, organic tempeh, pies, honeys, jams, jellies, pickles, pesto, meats of all kinds …pork, beef, veal, lamb, chicken, turkey and duck, cows milk and goats milk dairy products including raw milk, cheese, yogurt, kefir and butter, mushrooms, herbs and herbal products, baked goods and breads, maple syrup and candies, apples, cider, salsas and lots more! Saco River Market
