Telescope Night at the Southworth Planetarium!

University of Southern Maine campus

Southworth Planetarium will host a telescope night on the last Wednesday of each month, weather permitting. Watch a show and then venture outside the building to observe the sky through telescopes!

Although Portland doesn't have truly dark skies, we will be able to observe some of the more prominent celestial objects, such as planets, star clusters, and nebulae.
