Deering Oaks Park

Deering Oaks Park is a large community park in the city of Portland. There is a duck pond for viewing and feeding ducks in the warmer weather and ice skating in winter. A new children’s playground with traditional and ‘naturescape’ components. An ankle-deep pool/splash pad for hot summer days. Tennis courts, basketball courts, baseball diamonds, and other fields for sports use. It also houses multiple events like farmer’s markets, concerts, performances, festivals. Even decorative holiday lights in winter! It has a little of everything!
