Eliot Antique Tractor & Engine Show this Fri-Sun. Food, too (not antique).

The 17th year for this family friendly show set on the picturesque 33 acre Raitt Homestead Farm Museum features hundreds of tractors and engines, a working shingle mill, working displays of antique farm equipment, crafts, good food, live entertainment, antique tractor pulls, kids pedal tractor pulls, garden tractor pulling, tractor tour, and many other displays depicting farming life and the machinery used. The hugely popular Raitt Barrel Tractors will be chugging their way around the field!

Event Schedule:

Friday, July 27
Spectator Gates open at 10am. Engine, Tractor, and machinery displays & demonstrations begin. Highlights include an Auction at 5:30pm to benefit the RHFM.  Please bring an auction item to get in free on Friday night. ( no electronic devices please )  Hundreds of tractors and engine displays are set up for the weekend.  Artisans, crafter, flea market and more all weekend.

At 6pm the Garden Tractor Pulling begins in the pulling area.

Saturday, July 28
Saturday kicks off at 7:00am with the pancake breakfast until 10am. The sounds of hit or miss engines and the rumble of tractors soon follow at 8am- Engine Displays, Shingle Mill, Pumps, Wood splitter, and more demos begin!

Saturday morning continues with the Ladies Skillet Toss followed by the Kids Pedal Tractor Pull at 9:30am.  The RHFM Barrel Tractor rides, and many displays of working antique engines and implements.  Watch the Shingle Mill in operation as it makes old-fashioned singles that will be used for the Apple Barn and other buildings on the Farm Museum property. The circa 1920’s Hildreth Woodsplitter will be run throughout the day as will the many displays from the exhibitors.  The popular Tractor parade starts at 1:30pm followed by Antique Stone boat Tractor Pulling at 3pm.  Delicious homemade strawberry shortcake as well as ice cream, root beer floats, whoopie pies, hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken finger basket, fish basket, fries, lobster rolls and more will be served throughout the day.

Sunday, July 29
Sunday gates open at 7am for the pancake breakfast.  At 8am there will be a church service “In the Pines ” , and engines and demonstration begin. Tractor Tour* at 9am, Kids Pedal Tractor Pull 9:30am, at 11:30am the Tractor Parade followed by the Transfer Sled Tractor Pulling at 12:30pm and the raffle drawings at 2pm.
