Historical Halloween fun at the Ghosts of Freeport’s Past Cemetary Tours this Thu/Fri/Sat!

Looking for something fun and educational to do to celebrate Halloween? Try a Ghosts of Freeport tour!

“Ghost Tours” are led by the interred of the Woodlawn Cemetery . Our Ghost Host will give a brief history of the cemetery and introduce us to some of friends who are haunting the cemetery. Ghosts are portrayed by actors from the Freeport Players, in period costume who will “rise” to tell you stories about their lives.

On Sunday,  we’ll have a special presentation, inside at the First Parish Congregational Church at 3:30 PM. If walking around in a graveyard at night isn’t for you, join us on Sunday! Tour size is not limited on Sunday.

Note: The event is more historical than scary, and is appropriate for school age children.

Tickets: 

• $12/$10 (non-members/ members) and $5 for children 12 and under.

Participants can also pay at the cemetery, or call 207-865-3170 but tours are limited to 15 people per group, so individual tours may sell out. (Warning: This event is extremely popular so advance tickets are recommended!)
