Pineland Farm Family Programs. $5 for a super fun morning!

Pineland Farms is hosting a series of really fun family programs which are only $5 per child! Exciting and educational, children will learn about animals, farm life, food and how it’s all connected!

Upcoming Schedule:

Ice Cream Making
August 6 and 22, 10:00–11:30 am
Let’s learn how to make ice cream! First, we’ll visit our dairy cows and learn where the milk comes from to make this yummy frozen treat.

Kids Salsa Making
August 7, 10:00–11:30 am
We’ll harvest tomatoes, peppers, cilantro and onions from the garden and make farm-fresh salsa.

Family Farmyard Fun
August 13 and 21, 10:00–11:30 am
Meet the farmyard animals up close and personal, and learn how we care for them. We’ll feed the pigs, goats, ducks, and cows, and collect eggs from the chickens.

Kids Harvest Lunch
August 15 and 28, 10:00 am–12:00 noon
Come with an appetite to eat and learn!  We’ll harvest our own lunch and enjoy a picnic on the farm.

Tractor Day
August 20, 10:00–11:30 am
Join us to learn about the different types of tractors and machinery we use to feed and care for the farm animals.

Growing Green
August 29, 10:00–11:30am
We’ll learn about  companion planting, composting and chemical-free gardening.
