Do you have a fairy in your home? Bring him/her to our garden tour where we’ll explore different worlds of fairies through many fun activities such as color recognition, shape sorting, imaginary and sensory play, creative movement and dance. During the tour (led by our own fairies), participants will collect many objects to create their own fairy house and choose a fairy to take home. Children are encouraged to dress up in fairy costumes (bring your own wings; wands, cone hats for boys and flower headbands for girls will be provided). Parents can follow the tour behind the group and help their fairies with activities as needed.
Suggested age: 3-6 years old.
Children who are younger than 3 may join the tour, and their parents can help them with activities as needed. Please note, however, that most of the activities involve small items and are not appropriate for children who explore objects by mouth.
SCHEDULE:
9:30 am – First Tour
10:00 am – Second Tour
10:00 am on — making of fairy houses and choosing fairies
Playtime at Peekaboo until 12 noon
IMPORTANT:
We strongly encourage to RSVP and pre-pay for your tickets as each tour is limited to 10 children.
PLEASE RSVP by calling the Center at 854-3500; provide your credit card to pre-pay and choose your desired time for the Garden Tour (i.e. 9:30 am or 10:00 am).
$15 per ticket per child (up to two adults free; additional adults at $5 per person)
$17 per ticket per child — for those who RSVP, but expect to pay on the day of the event. Walk-ins would be accepted only if there are any spots left.
Tickets are non-refundable, however, if you have to cancel your child’s attendance at the last minute, the pre-paid amount can be applied towards general admission at Peekaboo.
