Damariscotta Pumpkinfest & Regatta is all about the kids!

Plan to spend some quality family time with your children as they win prizes, bounce like banshees, squeal down the giant inflatable slide, be photographed in a beautiful pumpkin-themed photo-setting, be awed by 1,200# Atlantic Giant Pumpkins, watch the magical Giant Pumpkin Parade, see pumpkins float and drop, inspect dozens of imaginatively decorated pumpkins lining Main Street, enter their personally designed pumpkin derby-car in the races and generally have “Big-Fun”!

About the Damariscotta Pumpkinfest & Regatta
Damariscotta Pumpkinfest & Regatta™ is an innovative program that promotes horticultural education to gardeners of all ages regarding the specific agricultural science required to grow Atlantic Giant Pumpkins. This program culminates in a family-oriented festival, held for ten days in early October thorough Columbus Day weekend each year to showcase the pumpkin growers results in a number of creative ways. Damariscotta is a small Maine town whose economic basis is fishing and tourism. This year, Pumpkinfest is expected to attract between 10-15,000 visitors.
