February & April Vacation 2018 Youth Theater Camps
If your child has dreams of being on Broadway, and singing, acting and dancing all day long, this is the program for you!
Patrick Dorow Productions’ Triple Threat Vacation Camp is a musical theatre program offered to students ages 7-16. Each camp is one week long and is a workshop-based program focusing on process rather than product.
Students will be placed in appropriate groupings and instructed based on their age, experience and ability. Younger students will have a curriculum designed to engage their imagination and extend their concentration capability while instilling confidence and self-esteem.
The advanced program will be an introduction to professional theatre with classes including: Dance, Private and Group Voice, Music Theory, Scene Study, Monologue Work, Playwriting, Improv, Stage Craft and Design and Theatre as a Business. Each student will leave with a new audition song, monologue, professional headshot and resume. Each session will end with a showcase for families and friends.

Summer 2018 Youth Theater Camps
Located in Portsmouth NH, PDP’s Summer Theatre Camp Sessions are two week programs designed to engage your child’s imagination and extend their concentration capability while instilling confidence and self-esteem. The program is designed to help your child develop their “actors toolkit” while learning to work in a disciplined, but fun performance environment.
Campers will work with our professional staff in a controlled, fun theatre environment, while they learn how to sing, dance and act on stage. Campers will be placed in age appropriate groupings and instructed based on their age, experience and ability.
In addition to preparing for live productions, students will also learn improvisation, audition techniques, stagecraft and different styles of dance.
Half Day (9am – noon) Ages 5-7
PDP’s half day Summer Theatre Camp sessions are two week sessions designed to introduce children 5-7* to musical theatre and the performing arts. Sessions run Monday-Friday from 9:00am to noon. Campers will perform in PDP’s Youth Mainstage production of Alice in Wonderland, Seussical the Musical and/or Annie. Campers should eat a full healthy breakfast before camp and bring snacks and water/drinks daily.

PDP’s full day Summer Theatre Camp sessions are two week sessions for ages 7-13. Sessions run Monday – Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm. Daily classes include professional instruction in Acting, Music, and Theatre Dance. Campers will be placed in groups and instructed based on their age, experience, and ability.
The program is designed to help your child develop their “actor’s toolkit” while learning to work in a disciplined, but fun professional environment while preparing for a production. Campers will perform in PDP’s Youth Mainstage production of Alice in Wonderland, Seussical the Musical and/or Annie. PDP Teen Mentor Full day (9am – 4pm) Ages 14-17
Teens ages 14-17 are encouraged to participate in our Summer Theatre Camp sessions. Daily classes fun from 9am-4pm Monday – Friday and include professional instruction in Acting, Music, and Dance. Campers will be placed in groups and instructed based on their age, experience, and ability. The program is designed to help teens develop their theatre skills while also providing them with leadership opportunities.
Teen Mentors will be with younger campers spending a portion of their day assisting the staff with Theatre Camp and preproduction activities. They will also be mentored by professional staff and cast members of PDP’s Professional Mainstage productions and participate in specialty workshops throughout the duration of camp. Teens will also assist with all aspects of preproduction and production including: Acting, Technical Crew, Direction, and Choreography for Alice in Wonderland, Seussical the Musical and/or Annie.
