In honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, we will read Happy Birthday, Martin Luther King, Jr. by Jean Marzollo and use puppets of all shapes, sizes and characters to explore the significance of Martin’s message of kindness. Free with admission.
Philosophy for Kids: What is Peace?
2:00-2:30pm
What does peace feel, smell and sound like? Explore peace in yourselves, your community, and your world through the book What does Peace Feel Like by V. Radunsky, and expressive, sensory art.
All Ages Poetry Slam
3:30pm-4:00pm
Express emotions, mitigate metaphors and relax into rhythms. Snap your fingers for this poetry slam for all ages. To sign up in advance to read a poem, email theatre@kitetails.org. Free with admission
