The Scarborough Land Trust protects more than 1000 acres, most of which is open (or soon will be) to public passive recreation. The Libby River Farm, Sewell Woods and Fuller Farm are three parcels that are currently open to the public. Locals as well as those from away can enjoy a wide variety of habitats in Scarborough. Passive recreation has slowly become a national passtime due to the appeal to young and old. Whether out for an afternoon run or an early morning bird watch, the Land Trust provides a well managed trail system which can be used in perpetuity.
