Tons o’ family fun at the Westbrook Winter Festival Jan. 10-12!

Join the City of Westbrook for “Winter West.” A weekend long winter festival that takes place throughout the city of Westbrook. Family skating, pancake breakfast, sled dog racing, snow sculptures, a princess tea party, and much more!  Come join the fun!

Friday Night:

4pm – Pub Crawl begins on Main Street, presented by HVAC Services (Dinner and drink specials all weekend at downtown restaurants. Complete your Pub Crawl Passport for a chance to win great prizes!)

6-8pm – Family Skate Night at Riverbank Rink on Main Street, presented by Glacial Multimedia and Kiwanis Club (Skate rentals, concessions, seating available)

7-9pm – Westbrook v. Gorham Boys Basketball at Westbrook High School on Stroudwater Street

Saturday:

7:30-11am – Pancake Breakfast at Dunn Street Legion Hall, presented by the Class of 2015

8:30am-3pm – Dog Sled Racing at Sunset Ridge Golf Links on Cumberland Street (Round-trip shuttle service available from Dunn Street Legion Hall. Concessions & Full Bar)

9am-10:30am – Frozen 5K Bagel Run & Walk, presented by Shipyard Brewing, Portland Pie & Mister Bagel (Beginning and ending at Mister Bagel on Main Street. Register in advance online at www.winterwestfrozen5k.com)

9am-3pm –Snow Sculptures at Saccarappa Park on Main Street, with judging at 3pm

9am-3pm – Family Ice Skating at Riverbank Rink on Main Street, presented by Glacial Multimedia and Kiwanis Club

10am-2pm – Pick-up Hockey at Lincoln Street Rink

10am-2pm –Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides at Riverbank Park on Main Street

11am-4pm – Hot Cocoa and Cookies at Walker Memorial Library on Main Street

12-3pm – Kid and Adult Crafts at Walker Memorial Library on Main Street

1-2:30pm – Snow Princess Tea Party at Drouin Dance Center in the Dana Warp Mill on Bridge Street (Age 2+. $8 per child, each sibling $5. Sign up at www.drouindancecenter.com, click “Register Now”, and look under “Special Events”)

1-3pm – Chilly Chili Lunch at Dunn Street Legion Hall, presented by Class of 2014

2-3pm – Family Story Hour at Walker Memorial Library on Main Street

3pm – Kayak Flash Mob on the river at Saccarappa Falls on Main Street

12-5pm – Fun, food and games at My Place Teen Center on Main Street

6pm-12am – Inaugural Snow Ball Dance at Dana Warp Mill on Bridge Street (Tickets in advance and at the door. Adults only; semi-formal attire)

Sunday:

8:30am-3pm – Dog Sled Racing at Sunset Ridge Golf Links on Cumberland Street
